After spending many years as a closet guitarist, I finally came out of the shed and started playing with some friends from work. We decided we would start jamming once a week just for the fun of it. Things have been going really well, we now have ten cover songs we know and two originals. Our friends say that we sound like a mix of the Beatles and The Rolling Stones. When we’re not jamming I like to spend time reading different guitar forums online, with the hopes that I can become a better player. I’ve learned so much about amps, guitars, and life on the road from these special forums.

It seems like not that long ago when you needed a telephone number or an address for someone or a business, you would pull out the white pages or the yellow pages book. These days, all of that information is right at your fingertips online. Lately, I have been using the White Pages Directory list. It is great to have one place to go to do whenever you need information quickly. I have been using it to look up local businesses as well friends when I do not have their number handy. It is an excellent resource and I have it bookmarked on my computer.

I have to admit that ever since I got rid of my cable television, I have spent even more time in front of the TV. This is because I replaced it with dish network tv and there are so many more channels than I had with cable. I could literally watch sports or movies all day long if I didn’t have to sleep or go to work. I am just warning anyone that switches to the dish network that they might end up forgetting to do some of the important things like eat. I think I need to set my TV up outside.
