One of my friends is divorced and is a single mother who is raising her eight year old son by herself. She takes him to school in the morning before she goes to work and has just enough time to get to the office. She has been working 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday which works out perfect for her son’s school schedule. She was all upset when she called me because her boss is wanting to change her schedule to 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and this will conflict with dropping her son at school. I told her that she needs to get some information on a single mothers rights before she gets to upset.

I have lived in Leeds my whole life, but I have never owned property here. I lived with my parents for a long time, and when I moved I rented a house. But last week I finally decided I was tired of throwing money into someone else’s property. I am ready to start building my own equity. I suppose the first thing I should do is look into hiring a Leeds conveyancing solicitor. I want someone who can help me make the purchase quickly, but who will not charge me too much. It would also be great if they let me know what they were doing throughout the whole process.

The finished wine that is available in bottles is the final product of winemaking which starts with the selection of grapes. Although there are other sources like fruits or non-toxic plant material to yield wine, most wine is made only from grapes. Water and honey are the major ingredients in a kind of wine called mead with water being the primary constituent.
Classification of wine making can be made as still wine production without carbonation and sparkling wine production with carbonation. The quality of grapes is the prime factor that determines the quality of wine and the quality of grapes is in turn affected by weather during the growing season, soil minerals and acidity, time of harvest and pruning method. A final dose of sulphite is added to the wine to preserve it and also prevent it from unwanted fermentation in the bottle. My next post will be about, home wine making equipment.

Let me remind all you people out there. Those of us that are nearly ready for our senior discount to kick in, these young ones have no fear! I let myself be talked into trying snowboarding for the first time. They made me strap on some clunky snowboard boots. Then they told me I had to attach myself to this little itty, bitty slip of a board. And they wanted me to wax it to boot! What are they crazy? I might slip and slide down that mountain. Are you trying to kill me or what? Blank looks. All I got. Kids! They think I’m stupid enough to try this standing up. I’m no dummy. Laying down looks fine to me and more comfortable too. What happened to sledding? Or toboggans? Or taking naps?
