It’s true that granite countertops do give off radon. But so does well water and other rocks in the ground. Is the fact that granite countertops give off radon enough of a reason to consider a competiting countertop material like quartz countertops.
The problem isn’t that granite gives off radon. It’s that the media wants to blow it up into some that it’s not. The media is a large and powerful group of fear mongers.
Don’t pay too much attention. Your countertop wont give you cancer. And I wont pay attention to media when they start spouting off in situations like this. Enjoy your granite countertops. Don’t fear them.

I can finally say that I love my body and the way I look. I didn’t for a very long time, but through a lot of work and struggling I finally have the perfect abs. At least I think that they are as close to perfect as I am going to get. I can fit into cloths now that I only ever dreamed of. I can walk into a room full of people without feeling like everyone is judging me. It feels wonderful to be able to know that I look good. It has really changed my life for the better.

Without a doubt, if there is one thing that prevails throughout history, it is the simple passing of time, and ever since we have been aware of the passing of it, we have striven to be able to measure it and keep track of it. I mean, if you think about it, where would we be if we didn’t have the clocks and watches that we have had for centuries?
