Remo D’Souza’S Autobiographical F.A.L.T.U
August 13th, 2011
Director Remo D’souza admits that F.A.L.T.U is his autobiographical take on the Indian education system. During an interview he said the main character ‘Jacky Bhagnani’ is based on him and all the crazy things he used to do when he was younger. Remo D’souza even admitted to being a poor student who used to consistently bring home bad grades. Remo D’souza argues through his film that the education system has a number of loop holes and tries to get people to see the realities of today’s students with relation to their schools. Before the film was released he first screened it for Raju Hirani; director of the similarly themed film 3 Idiots for feedback.
