A Celebration of Indie Music

I made it back home last weekend and had a great time. First of all, the whole trip was like a celebration of Indie Music. I finally got all of my CD library on my new iPod, so I could listen to anything I wanted in the car. Then my favorite joint was having a battle of the bands, and some of the acts were top notch. Made me proud to be from Macon County.

When I was a kid, we didn’t really have the quality bands around. At least I don’t remember that we did. Maybe I’m just more appreciative now.
