Didgeridoos Make The Deep, Base Buzzing Sound In Aussie Music

August 22nd, 2009

While our family was in Aussie land, when ever we went to any of the cultural functions, we kept hearing this very primitive instrument that was making these low buzzing noises and wondered what the noises were from. As it turns out, these types of long tubular musical instruments that the Aborigines play are known as didgeridoos, and also as we understand it, they take a considerable amount of skill to learn how to play properly. The breathing pattern that people use while playing this instrument is known as circular breathing, and it takes a lot of practice to learn how to master, as well.
