Is It Better To Buy a Warranty From A Dealership?

September 2nd, 2009

I get a lot of telemarketing calls about extended warranties for my car. They just about drive me crazy and I think it might be some kind of scam. I’m wondering if it’s better to get an extended warranty from a dealership or if I should try to get one direct. There are some companies that sell them on the Internet. It’s hard to know what is a scam and what is legit. I know a used car extended warranty is good if you expect your car to break down but I’m not sure if I really need one with my car being so new. Those telemarketing calls sure make you wonder though.
