The Automobile History Timeline Starts In the 1300s
April 23rd, 2009
When most of us think of the history of cars we think it started in the late 1800s or early 1900s. However if we were to look at an automobile history timeline we would see that the first car was designed in Italy in 1335. Cars today could learn from it because it was powered by a windmill. Unfortunately it never got off the drawing board and there was no record of a car being built until 1678 when Father Ferdinand Verbiest built a car powered by steam. So our timeline stretches back much farther than we thought and now we can wonder how far in the future it will go.
