Estate appraisers value auto collection

My dad used to race cars in his youth. Later when he became a surgeon he made collecting cars his passion. Over the last 40 years, he had one of the greatest car collections in the World. When he died I called in a team of estate appraisers to value his collection. While the exact value is confidential the collection of over 125 cars fetched a record when they were sold this spring at the Pebble Beach Classic Car Auction. It was a exciting event to see my Dad’s collection go to auction. But is was also sad, I grew up with some of these fantastic cars. If you have rare items make sure to talk to a few estate appraisers.
