Gingerboy Is Exceptional Melbourne Restaurant with a South East Asian Flavor

June 29th, 2009

If you have the opportunity to visit Australia, be sure to experience the Gingerboy Melbourne.  This restaurant/bar features a cuisine that is inspired by the street kitchens, hawkers, and vendors of South East Asia.  The food is spicy, hot, flavorful, and comes from Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Singapore.  The menu includes steamed pork and garlic chive dumplings and son-in-law eggs with chili jam and asian herbs.  After dinner, the diner can choose from tofu cheesecake, chili orange sugared banana fritters, or another of Gingerboy’s signature desserts.  The wine list features many fine sparkling, white, and red wines along with their specialty cocktails.  For special occasions or business functions, the Gingerboy Melbourne offers a private room with self-contained bar.  This venue can accommodate up to sixty people and is perfect for stand-up cocktail parties.  DJ service is provided when music is desired.  If you live in the Melbourne area or are just visiting, be sure to sample the Gingerboy’s menu of South East Asian specialties.
