I am a dad who wants the best real estate deals

I am a dad with two sons in college in California.  When the boys and I discussed it, I agreed that I would buy them a house to live in during their college years, but of course they will have to find one within a reasonable budget.  I have found out a lot about property since starting this search with the boys, and I am now growing increasingly interested in locating the best real estate deals.  Just because I can afford to pay more for a property does not mean that I would like to pay more for it.  I look forward to the adventure!
