Recruiter in New York City

I have previously been a recruiter in the greater Los Angeles area and I have just been offered the same type of position in New York City. While I love my job and I am excited at the challenge I am really scared of failure. I do not know what the jobs in New York City would be like comparable to Los Angeles. I am sure that there are different trends and of course I have heard that the people are just altogether different as well. Not just that but I have to learn new areas and where I am so comfortable and I know so much about Los Angeles that it will be tough to start over.
