The Small Dirty Apartment

We moved to Southern California a few years ago when my husband got transferred. We knew the move was coming, but nothing can really prepare you for big city life. I thought it might be glamorous and fun, but it was more dirty and cramped. The only apartment we could afford was small and a bit dirty. After we called Orange County Chem Dry to do the carpets, we discovered that they were a totally different color underneath all of the grime! We had a 600 square foot apartment with only one window overlooking an ally where the homeless lived. It wasn’t the best of situations. But we didn’t stay there long. My husband was thankfully transferred again the following year.
