Delivering the Chicken Coop

Recently I decided that I would raise my own chickens. It is my way of making sure that I know where the food I eat comes from. The problem seemed to be where to have the chickens live. I decided on a really nice coop, but it would be delivered in one piece. Getting it to it’s final destination would have been nearly impossible if I did not have my 4wd trailer coupling. I placed the coop on the trailer, and drove down into the lower part of my garden to deliver the coop to it’s final home. The chickens have never been happier!

Whats There To Do In Fuerteventura?

For beach lovers Fuerteventura is ideal as it has over a hundred and fifty to choose from. The long gorgeous beaches in the South are famous for wind surfing and the man made beach in Caleta de Fuste is simply perfect for the kids.Much less commercialised as Tenerife or Gran Canaria, fuerteventura still has lots to do for both families and couples alike. In the North the most popular resort of Corralejo is found which now has a new amusement park with adjacent water park. On the east coast is the calmer resort of Caleta de Fuste or as its sometimes known El Castillo. Both resorts are busy throughout the year and have ample things to do. Caleta de Fuste is also very child friendly with an abundance of activities available.

Modern Treasure Hunting

Modern forms of treasure hunting often start with a trip to the attic to see what old and valuable stuff might be up there. To cash in you can sell antiques and collectibles online. But there are more places that that to find treasure. People still hide money in and around homes, for example, so if you happen to inherit a house or buy an old home, start poking around. Look for stashes in the eaves of the garage or other out-buildings. Look for dips in the ground or other signs that something may have been buried. Who knows what you’ll find if you look.

Travel Pass Excellent Value

One of the best ways to travel as a tourist is by shuttle service in Costa Rica, taking advantage of Gray Line’s one week pass that allows unlimited travel within Costa Rica. All destinations throughout Costa Rica were included in this unlimited travel apart from the trip to and from the airport at San Jose. We travelled all over the place using this season ticket for the Gray Line shuttle service, even travelling up to the northern beaches of Guanacaste as well as Rincon de la Vieja a couple of days later. I know some of the shorter trips might be more cost effective paying for trips separately, but we found the travel pass extremely economical for what we wanted.

The Best Hilton Head Rentals

I am trying to plan a vacation for my family. We have narrowed our search down to two locations. Now I am starting the process of finding the best places to stay for each. I am really wanting to end up in the Hilton Head area. That is why i am going to start searching for the best Hilton Head Rentals. We are more partial to condo or house rentals since it is five of us. With three kids we definitely need our space to spread out and hopefully this rental will be close to the beach. I am sure there are some great choices available.

We Were Going Back

After my wife got home from work the other night, I told her that I had a surprise for her.  She asked me what it was, and I told her that she had to guess. Well, she began guessing a number of things having to do with food, or clothes, and I explained to her that she was not even close to hitting the mark.  Finally, I told her that I had decided that I was going to take the family to cornwall holiday park for a week in the summer.  She was really excited.  We had been there years ago.

Aquis Pelekas Beach: Lots to Entertain

When we stayed at the Aquis Pelekas Beach hotel, we found there was so much to do. The animation team was very enthusiastic and managed to get guests involved in aqua aerobics quizzes and games on the beach. There was a Greek night with traditional food, folk dancers & a fabulous group, whose singer could have won the X Factor. We both had Thai massages which we enjoyed. We had a fantastic time - so much so, we’re going back next year. We celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary when we were there and we got champagne, fruit and a huge chocolate cake . It was such a lovely touch.

A great start to our vacation

We landed in Auckland to a beautifully sunny day and then had a really nice drive down to Taupo where we were spending our week. Driving in to town was just amazing with the view of the mountains across the lake. We found the lodge we had made a reservation for from the taupo luxury accommodation site and were greeted by the owners with a glass of NZ wine which was a great way to start the week. They gave us lots of suggestion for things to do in town so we set off for a look around and to book in for a few things. Over the following days we did loads of things from boat trips on the lake to jet boating and it was a great week away.

Getting lost at a young age

I had an appointment last week and could only remember that the office was beside a rotorua motel. I know this shouldn’t sound like a big deal, most people would just call and confirm the address or check the piece of paper they had written down the directions on but I had neither of these, and on top of that I had already gotten in the car and driven almost two hours. After about another hour I managed to find the place, but it definitely made me run out and buy GPS for my car, and I always write down the phone number of where I’m going in four different places. I don’t think I’m that old to forget where I’m going, but I guess we all have bad days.
