A diet based on grapefruit?

Can you really lose weight by eating grapefruit? I was looking for a grapefruit diet review and I did see a study which was done where people ate grapefruit with every meal and it did show a small increase in the amount of weight lost, but nothing huge. Now the question is can you really stomach eating grapefruit before every meal? You’ll be sick of it in 2 days I bet! Plus eating something like fruit before every meal will dull your appetite anyway so why not just eat a random piece of fruit before every meal? That gives you more variety so you will stick to it for longer.
