Intermittent Catheters for the Uninsured

May 23rd, 2009

Insurance for health coverage can be extremely expensive. A person that does not get coverage from a place of employment may end up paying over $150 a month for only major medical coverage for one person. This doesn’t cover dental, vision or the entire family. This does not mean that these individuals don’t still have to face medical bills. The use of intermittent catheters is often recommended for people that are not insured or underinsured. A different style needs to be monitored by a doctor and can be expensive. Intermittent styles can be used at home and are thus a lot less expensive.
