Labor Acupressure

October 7th, 2009

Acupressure to induce labor naturally works by stimulating the onset of labor contractions, enabling the cervix to dilate and encouraging the baby to descend. The majority of women who apply labor acupressure during labor quite often have labors up to two or three hours shorter than those women who do not use this amazing technique. It is my advice to practice finding these points before the big day: Remember locate, but do not press.

You will definately be aware when you have hit the spot because the spot will fell bruised and a little sore when pressure is applied. Since you will not be pressing your labor inducing acupressure points, but merely finding and identifying them, it may be a good idea to identify other labor acupressure points on your body so that you understand what they feel like.

The new and well designed labor acupressure guide is set out with clearly defined step by step instructions with plenty of clear and concise illustrations to guide you through the simple but effective process of naturally inducing your labor with acupressure. Your labor will be blessedly shorter, less painful, and much less of a trauma for you and your baby.
