Heartburn is one of the most common symptoms that is experienced by people with acid reflux. It can often be described as a burning sensation that comes from within the chest. However, it can be felt as high as the throat and as low as the stomach.

If you have stabbing pains in your chest regularly, it can be a symptom of acid reflux, but if you experience this you should visit the doctor immediately because it could be a symptom of something more serious.
