Straining & Right Back Pain
August 8th, 2009
Straining the soft tissues of the right back often results in very painful situations because these large muscle groups support your entire spine. The extensor muscles are the primary muscles that support your spine. The flexor muscles attach to the front of the spine and are vital in helping you flex, bend forward and lift objects. Oblique muscles attach to the side of your spine and assist your spine in rotating. Injury to any of these muscles will result in agonizing right back pain and sometimes cause back spasms. Your movement will be limited because motion in any injured area causes pain and discomfort.
