On the Side of Safety when Using THEO Heaters

July 9th, 2010

As much as THEO heater manufactured by Hydor are made for the high-end market and boasts of state-of-the-art features, users of the fish tank heater must still exercise caution when using the heater, just like when using any other appliance or gadget.  With THEO heaters, here are some safety reminders given by the manufacturers themselves to make sure you can enjoy your heater for a longer time safely.

* When doing any maintenance to the fish tank or changing the water in it, make sure that the heater, as well as the other plugged electrical gadgets, is turned off.  You can always turn them on again once you’re done cleaning, putting something new in the aquarium, or changing the water.

* When the fish tank or aquarium does not have any water, do not plug in the heater or for that matter, all plugged appliances.

* Double check your voltage supply to make sure that it corresponds to the voltage needed by the heater to function properly.

* The heater is for indoor use only.
