A Dummy Security Camera Helps Deter Thefts

I work in a large department store, and I have seen it all. People are always coming up with ways to steal items from the store. The frustrating thing is that most shop-lifters actually have the money on them to pay for the items that they choose to steal. Our store decided it had to do something to hinder the increased thefts so we installed a new security system with both real-working and pretend security cameras. A dummy security camera is as good as a real one if people still think they are being monitored. In every area where we put them, we have seen less shop-lifting.
