Dwarf Gourami: The Colorful Fish

February 22nd, 2010

If you want to add color to your aquarium, you may want to consider choosing Gourami to the tank.  These brightly-hued little creatures can be found in varieties such as neon blue, powder blue, and flame.  Not only do they add beauty to their underwater world, but they are peaceful and generally co-exist easily with other fish.  Once in a while a male will become aggressive and territorial, but this can be prevented by providing a lot of space and several females for every male. Dwarf gourami eat most fish foods and are easy to breed.  With a little care and thought, they can easily become an attractive centerpiece of the aquarium.
