How Quantaum Dota are Used in Solar Vehicles

Quantum dots – The nanometer-size quantum dots usually are synthesized in solvent containing soap-like molecules called surfactants as stabilizers. As each photon is absorbed, a positively charged hole is trapped by the quantum dot drain, while the corresponding electron is swept into the channel. The amount of current flowing in the channel depends on the number of holes trapped by quantum dots. Scientists are planning to manufacture them as paints for homes or for cars. Solar power for the home is getting easier as technology gets better and people realize how many benefits there are to using solar power in ther houses.
