New Wind Power Design

If you are interested in Wind Power Design and building helicopters or wind turbines you have to take features like the dynamic behavior, the strength, the fatigue properties of the materials and the whole assembly into consideration. Wind turbines are constructed to capture the wind’s kinetic energy. Therefore, you may think why new wind turbines are not constructed using many rotor blades, just like those old American windmills you notice in Hollywood movies. Turbines possessing many blades or very broad blades and having a solid rotor will be exposed to very large forces as the wind blows at high speed. New turbines can withstand high velocity winds.
