No PVC Check Valve

June 27th, 2009

Oh, the joys of living in a trailer park in rural Wyoming! Let me tell you why I say this. Although there are many reasons, the latest reason manifested itself a few days ago. I was doing dishes, when all of a sudden my water went out. So I called our landlord, and his wife said he was doing maintenance on the little water line that connects all of our trailers – we are all on one well. I asked why my water had gone out, since our trailer is ahead of where he was working. Apparently, when he put in the water line, he didn’t use a PVC check valve between any of the trailers. Can we say western engineering?
