Oak Bedroom Furniture – To Finish or Not to Finish

To keep your oak bedroom furniture looking great, wipe it with a finishing oil to nourish it and stop it from drying out and twisting. You’ll want to do this with a buff cloth to create a more sparkling finish. Some people want their oak bare, believing that the wood would age better naturally. Perhaps, they haven’t realized that leaving oak like this over time attracts microorganisms which get trapped in its large, bare grains and, in turn, promote an environment for rotting. To pamper you oak, make sure you give it a nice finish.
