What Recipe?

Not long after my oldest daughter was married, she called me on the phone with a strange request.  She has always been my most independent child, so this was the first time she had actually called since the wedding. So, I was expecting to hear all about the honeymoon trip to Hawaii.  I was also expecting to hear a bunch of thank yous for all the time and money I spent on her wedding.  Instead, I get “Hi mom, I need your mashed potatoes recipe.”  I was so shocked, all I could say was “What recipe?  There is no recipe.” I proceded to tell her all you do is peal, boil, mash, add salt and pepper, and butter, then mash some more.  Then she says “Thanks, gotta go, bye.”  Click.
