I Had to Buy Additional Saftey Equipment for the Boat

May 8th, 2010

When we got the new boat I was excited to take it out. I had just completed the registration and titling and thought that I was ready to go. But when I talked to Florida Boat Law I found out that I was suppose to provide additional safety equipment. One of the items I needed to take was a compass. This was to make sure I could get back to shore if it became foggy. Another item I needed to take was a flashlight. This was just a precaution just in case the lights went out on the boat. The last piece of equipment I needed to bring was a communication device to call for help if I needed it.
