Following The Survey Markers

My brother is building a new deck on the back of his house. He has many friends who are in the trades and they have offered him advice and some have even lent him the tools he needs to get the job done right. The first bit of advice that he was given by his buddies was to have a professionally done land inspection and then to follow the survey markers when choosing the limits of the new deck. He cannot extend too far so that it encroaches on the property line of his neighbor and he had to be sure what his limits were.
