Looking for the Best Ways for Potty Training My New Puppy

We just got a new puppy. He is just a bundle of love and energy but also a lot of work. We love him to death though and are looking forward to many happy years with him. However, we know how important it is that we start things off right and I have been looking for the best ways for Puppy Potty Training. I have had cats before but they are a lot easier as far as training goes. We have already decided that we do not want to train him to go anywhere in the house, so we are looking for other techniques.
