Want to Oil a Snake?

Unwelcome snakes can be a problem for home owners and gardeners, but please do not kill the snakes unless they are a direct and immediate threat to you and yours.  Most snakes are actually very beneficial to the environment in which they live.  Get a snake trap, set it out where the unwanted snakes are seen, and let the lure and glue board do the job for you.  Once you have captured the snake, simply take the trap to an appropriate place, spray the snake with cooking oil, and give it a few minutes to wriggle free.  The oil will have no lasting effect on the snake.
