My Favorite Santa Claus

I remember when I was in college, one of my roommates gave me what ended up being the start of a vast Christmas decoration collection! My birthday is three weeks before Christmas, and that year she gave me a porcelain Santa Claus, dressed in old fashioned clothing and holding a bundle of holly. I loved it so much that I completely cleaned off my mantel and decorated around it that year, and from there the rest is history – after Christmas sales for discounts on decorations, decorating right after thanksgiving, you name it I do it now! All because of the first decoration.
