Michigan Alternative energy

The question comes up all the time, does Michigan have what it takes to be green? The current movement is to use all the displaced auto workers to create a clan of eco geeks. Will some day most of the countries energy be from Michigan alternative energy. Time will tell. The talent is definitely here and the need to better ways to run our homes and cars is also there. The challenge will be retraining all of these people and finding enough work for them. Alternative energy is typically expensive and takes a long time to get people on the band wagon.
