Careers as a Phlebotomist Assistant

Because the drawing and testing of blood in a hospital or other clinical condition is vital to the patients health and in determining what, if any, conditions a patient may have, the role of a phlebotomist assistant is highly valued and sought after. Upon completion of training, a person who is seeking a career in phlebotomy has expansive opportunities on where they might like to work. Phlebotomists are needed across all spectrums of the health care industry from hospital lab settings to private labs and in such environments as nursing homes, blood banks and clinics, there is no shortage across this country to where a person trained in phlebotomy can work.
