Reduce the Need for Medications — Get in Shape
October 3rd, 2009
At my last physical, my doctor said my blood pressure was up, my cholesterol and triglyceride levels were up and he was almost certain my blood sugar was, too. He blamed all of it on the fact that my weight was up. We made a deal. If I could get some weight off in a month and see if my health indicators were better, he would put off writing me prescriptions. Me and my wife’s Merit Fitness 725T Treadmill soon became the best of friends. Just a few times a week for 30 minutes at a time did it for me. In one month, I had dropped a little weight and all my health indicators were sliding back down to normal. I’m now a healthier believer in exercise.
