Large screen ipod touch on the way

Rumor on the street is that Apple is planning on releasing a large screen version of the iPod Touch some time in the fall of 2009. A confidential source from Apple has claimed to have handled the prototype iPod Touch personally says iPod Blog. The new screens are rumored to be 7 to 9 inches, a considerable jump over the 3.5 inch screens on current iPod Touch devices. Will a large screen ipod touch sell well? If it is made by Apple then it sure will. But is it really needed right now? And who exactly will use such a thing?
