Mobile phones: don’t use if you have a pacemaker!
August 24th, 2009
Given how common and cheap mobile phones are nowadays it is now extremely unusual to come across someone who does not actually own or have access to one. That said, there are certain types of people who should specifically not have one.
This is because there is a major risk to their health and in particular people who have pacemakers should be extra cautious and vigilant indeed. Mobile handsets have been proven to interfere with the workings of pacemakers and so this is a major factor that should be given the proper consideration. Have a chat with your GP and look online for information before making any considerations.
