Phone Calls: A Measure of Progress

I can still remember how thrilled my grandparents were to get their first telephone installed. It was big, clunky, black plastic thing but they thought it was the highest high tech. Each one of them called someone, just to say they had a phone. Forty years later I had my land line removed when I got a cell phone. Then I read a Magic Jack Review and decided to change to computer-based calling. It hardly seems possible to me but I have become completely unwired and now use my laptop for everything, including calls. Imagine what my grandparents would say.
