HDTV stands for High Definition Television and can allow an HDTV set to deliver a much better picture than you you can get from a standard definition signal.  Especially with a big screen HDTV set, watching HDTV channels from Dish Network is like watching movies in a theater!  The thing that really makes Dish Network’s HDTV a great thing to have at home is that the high quality isn’t just limited to movies.
