Bird Watching Vacations in Belize

July 18th, 2009

Belize is home to about 543 different kinds of birds. Some are colorful, and others are unique looking shore-walkers, or an unusual version of a bird that you might have seen before. But, for those of us who enjoy our feathered friends, there is no place on earth for a bird watching vacations. In Belize, the birds are special. Some of the most interesting species of birds enjoy living in the upper-story of the lush Belize jungle. During the early morning and late afternoon hours these jungle dwellers can put on quite a show. With the dense vegetation involved, sometimes all you see is a glimpse of feathers. Other times though, you will enjoy using your camera. You can find a great belize vacation package on the web that includes bird watching as an activity.
