Daughter Needs to Find Cheap, but Safe Accommodation in Montreal

My daughter is taking a trip with a group of her friends this summer. She just gradated from high school and before they all go off in different directions to college, they want to have some fun. However, my daughter is trying to save her money. She needs to find a safe but cheap accommodation in Montreal. I have been looking online to help her and also to make sure that she chooses a place that I am comfortable with. I have been researching areas that I think would be good for her and have found a few options that I like.
