finding cheap hotel deals

I guess you could say I’m a little ignorant on the cost of hotels in the area. I was looking for a hotel room for me and my husband for a weekend getaway and was shocked that all the hotels I checked were quoting me about one hundred and fifteen dollars a night. I was sure that I would be able to find some cheap hotel deals, but I was looking in the wrong spot. Going directly to the hotel will always be more expensive. I should have started checking online to find the best rate available. But now I know the secret.
